Aim and Scope
The GEN TEFL Journal is a refereed journal. It aims to gather and record a range of studies not only in English Language Teaching but also across disciplines exploring teaching-learning approaches, theories, techniques, methodologies, technologies, and best classroom practices developed by teachers, researchers, administrators, and other interested individuals for the long-term advancement of teaching and learning research and knowledge.
Open Access Policy
GEN TEFL publishes fully open access journals, which means that all articles published on the website are accessible to all readers without the need for a journal subscription. The journals are first published online, allowing authors to amend their published articles before they are printed within a given period. All of the articles are subjected to double blind peer review and process monitoring by editors.
Peer Review Process
The paper must adhere to the journal's template and be written in English. The submitted paper must be an original work that has never been published before and is not currently being reviewed or submitted to another publication. The submitted paper will be assessed by the editorial team before being sent to the reviewers for a double-blind peer-review process. During a double-blind peer review, the identities of both the reviewer and the author are kept hidden from the reviewer and vice versa. The editorial team will make the final decision to accept or reject the work based on the reviewer's ideas or advice. It is recommended that authors review their papers before submission.
